Bibles Through Walls is a ministry outreach of our Christian nonprofit dedicated to placing God’s Word into the hands of people who need hope, comfort, and guidance. We receive Bibles through donations from individuals, churches, and partner organizations. These include KJV, NIV, and many specialized personal editions that—although they may begin with books like Matthew or other key sections—are fully verified NIV versions.
Each donated Bible is lovingly prepared by our team. We add a small introduction card with key Scriptures about how God sees you, a prayer line on the back for those needing support, and a label letting the recipient know this Bible was intentionally gifted to them. Before any Bible goes out, our team prays over it, asking God to send it exactly where it is needed.
Our volunteers and team members then distribute these prepared Bibles through our outreach network and partnered ministries. Instead of placing them only in public locations, we now focus on serving organizations and communities across the United States, including:
Psychiatric units and mental health facilities
Homeless shelters and transitional housing programs
Churches without the budget to purchase Bibles
Senior living facilities and elderly individuals without family or financial means to obtain a Bible
Additional community partners requesting God’s Word for those they serve
This program operates entirely through generosity. We do not purchase Bibles unless donations are specifically provided for that purpose. Everything we do flows from prayer, calling, and the belief that every person deserves access to God’s Word. Our Mission Director, Chris Banks, leads this outreach with compassion, stewardship, and a heart for those in need.

1. Donation
We receive Bibles from individuals, churches, and partner organizations. Every Bible—whether KJV, NIV, or specialized personal editions—is a gift sown into someone’s life through generosity.
2. Set Up & Prayer
Our team prepares each Bible with an introduction card, key Scriptures, a prayer line, and a label. Before it goes out, we pray over the Bible, asking God to guide it to the person who needs it most.
3. Team Placement
Our trained team members and volunteers deliver the prepared Bibles to partnering organizations and individuals who need them most. This includes shelters, care facilities, churches without resources, and other places where people are seeking hope and support. Each Bible is placed with purpose, prayer, and compassion.

Please note: some Bibles may be reserved for hospitals, prisons, shelters, and outreach programs on our waiting list. Reserved items will be clearly marked.
