Donation Policy – Center Of Love Ministries

At Center Of Love Ministries, we are committed to full transparency, integrity, and accountability in how we receive, process, and use donations. Our mission depends on the trust of our donors, partners, and community, and we take that responsibility seriously.

1. Use of Funds

All donations received—whether monetary, in-kind, or through other assets—are used exclusively to advance our mission of community and homeless impact. Funds are applied toward program expenses, outreach efforts, operational costs, and other activities directly related to fulfilling our charitable purpose.

We do not divert, misappropriate, or allocate funds for personal, unrelated, or unauthorized purposes. Any compensation for staff, including founders or executives, is approved in accordance with nonprofit law and industry standards, and is solely for legitimate work performed in support of our mission.

2. No Money Given or Taken Outside of Mission

We do not issue cash payments or benefits to donors in exchange for donations, except where legally allowed for small thank-you gifts of nominal value. Likewise, we do not withhold or take portions of a donation for unrelated activities. Every dollar is allocated in a manner that serves the organization’s mission.

3. Trusted and Protected Sources

We only accept donations from trusted, legal, and verifiable sources. This ensures all funds are obtained ethically and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Any donation found to be from an unverified or unlawful source will be declined or returned in accordance with the law.

4. Security of Transactions

All financial transactions are conducted through secure and reputable payment processors, banks, or fundraising platforms. Donors’ personal and payment information is protected by industry-standard encryption and privacy safeguards.

5. Transparency and Reporting

We maintain accurate financial records of all donations received and how they are spent. Annual summaries and reports are available to donors and the public upon request. We are committed to operating with the highest degree of transparency and accountability.

6. Non-Refundable Donations

Unless required by law, all donations are final and non-refundable. This allows us to immediately put contributions to work for the benefit of the community and our mission.

7. Compliance

This policy is consistent with all applicable nonprofit laws, IRS regulations, and ethical fundraising guidelines. Any changes to this policy will be publicly posted and communicated to our donors.
